Default Gear box on a zx6r question?

Alright just to be clear I watched videos on youtube about this is this right or wrong from 12-07 = has gear boxes to show what gear your in but for the 06 and under = nothing right? I didn't bother to look up those after seeing 06 didn't have one. And is it possible if I get an 07-08 zx6r and convert my gauge cluster into a 09?

actually, my 06 10r does not. I do not own a 6r yet. My idiot self though forgot that I went from my street rides of the standard shift pattern to my track ride with the GP shift. I leave for a hot lap and realize that DA! Wrong way ya idiot!

hmm, even at an actual 140ish mph, that is too fast for the streets. Definitely tempting to test ride at those speeds. I cannot say that I have not tuned a few rides on the streets, but still, not the best place to do it.

That was crazy of this rider but he was flying and that's only on a 600 that should be more then enough power for me! I don't even plan on going that fast seems to risky and I don't think you could stop on time so you don't get detected by the cops. Lol but yes that is bad to do that on the streets luckily this rider was exp enough to handle that much speed/power so you never rode that quick before?
