Cam chain tensioner is failing. From what I see it is the same body as the ZX6RR. You can buy new OEM and it might do it again or you can buy a manual one and never have to replace it again. I have a lot of experience with them because when mine went bad in my two Kawasakis I couldn't find the pat I needed and when I made them for myself I made extra and it turned into a sideline to my teaching. The KLX250 guys will tell you I'm good at what I do and will not tell anyone to replace the part unless it is bad - yours is. The plunger is sliding back and forth, not holding position as it should. Feel free to PM me for questions and a quote. I know you're not in the US since we never saw the Z800 in 2014.
