Default Being 25 yrs old does have it's benefits after all

I decided to try out state farm today and check their rates out. On a multi-line discount, anda good driver discount, State Farm told me it would cost$163 per year on a ZX-14![8D] And, $308 per year for full coverage. I almost crapped my pants when the agent told me that. In fact, I thought she must have screwed something up to be getting those numbers. American Family wanted over $3400 a year! The stateFarm agentwentso far as to call the underwriter for an exact price, and sure enough, they gave her the same figures. It's funny that for liability only I would be paying the same for my 250R Ninja. I don't plan on making a purchase yet, but next spring I'm definitely gonna start shopping around. Who knows what the 2008 ZX-14 will be like. Probably the same thing with new colors I'm sure. We'll see.

I guess turning a quarter century old does have it's benefits after all.

I'm not quite sure what "slow same as the 10r" means. Please explain.

yeah being over 25 does drop the insurance rates.
but every year i go on vacation and it seems i get a ticket for speeding to my vacation. and speeding tickets REALLY affect motorcycle insurance from what i discovered.

I'm just happy to know I could pretty much buy any bike I wanted, and still afford to insure it.
