I've been riding on and off road for 40+ years. I did an off road excursion just over a week ago, climbing nearly 6,000 feet in elevation. All in all, I didn't think it was all that difficult. Enjoyable and I'd like to make the same trip again.

However 2 days later, my left forearm is killing me! I saw a doctor and I guess my death grip and continued clutching stressed my muscles. I've wrapped it, iced it and Motrin 3x/day. It's now been over a week and it's barely any better. How long does this stuff take to heal?
