The stator passed away on my 2006 900 Vulcan late last summer. This was only 3 years old! It's not a Harley! Kaws are supposed to run forever! I'm a little ticked off to say the least, anybody out there with this bike and this problem?

 

Have you checked for any possible recalls from Kawi? Bummer on the stator after 3 yrs. Good luck and welcome to KF.

 

Unfortunately some electrical components can be hit and miss, one good spike can shorten the life dramatically. Congrats on the fix!

I am having an issue with the battery not charging ! I have replaced the stator, rectifier and relay assembly. at witts end
