Default 80's kz1000 engine rattle.

gonna try and post a video of the top cam idler. it feels wore out to me but never had to work on one before. i got aa rattle. sounds like its in the lower engine but doesnt sound like any rod knock i have heard before. took off rotor cover and magneto/flywheel looks good.

So anybody have opinion on using a DID219T-124 or 219H-124 with a rivet master link or a key master link. Hate to think i gotta pull the pistons and split the case. by that point the motor is out of the bike. Of course if I used a key link I would ensure the open end would be away from chains running direction. To clarify it is a 79 kz1000 st.
