Have to say that they are a bigger(bulkier) boot lets say and I am re-learning how to shift now. Really comfortable boot especially brand new. I am impressed so far.

Is it hard to walk around in? Would you be in a world of pain if you were stuck in the mall walking around in them?

They are a little stiffer but walking in them has not been bad so far. (walked through some snow and slush for some pics) Not saying mall walking, but I am sure that you will only notice a little binding but not bad. The ankle still articulates front and back so walking is really not an issue. The soles seemed pretty good today also. Grips well on the pegs almost too well. Plus they have a heel which I am not used to. I tend to walk the pits with my gear, and I cannot say that they are the best walking boot since I have not attended a track day with them. But they seem to be a good boot so far.

I would not say they are good for walking around but there intended use is for protection on the bike, but as far as walking out to the garages or to the line they are fine

So now that you have had them for a couple months, what do you think?

+ 1 Field Armor boots. Large, but effective. Plus the side zipper makes them easy as **** to take on and off.
I'm tempted at those new joe rocket super street boots, but I'd rather go for some race-boots instead.

hmm, I am getting the ride ready for the street again since this years tracking is out now. So I really have no more time on the boots on the ride. Although I still wear them in the house! lol Still waiting on those fairing rivets for the stock bodywork. Did I mention I hate those rivets!
