i was looking around at some sites for different visors...i found CL12 visors, and CS10 visors, but none for that model...it says that the visor comes off easily, and that would be nice as its a pain wedging sunglasses inside my helmet when im racing, so if i could get a tinted visor for the daytime racing, that would be nice..

There's a couple of links for ya on visor replacements, if it will help out.

awesome! thanks!

my biggest concern ...my old helmet is a bell...its old as hell. i broke the visor a coupe years back, but they dont make visors to fit it anymore, so i was stuck without one...this helmet was so cheap, i was concerned that this is a clearance helmet, and that if i need a visor in a year or something....i wont be able to get one?

ha ha, you got nabbed on the snell 2000 rating also it seems!

I use an HJC in dirt riding, been a good helmet. I have no experience in your newest purchase though.

Good luck in your racing

My last 2 helmets were HJC CL 14. I was wearing one when I crashed back in April. Even though I got knocked out, I'm alive today because of it.

Good helmets at a good price.

Nabbed through Tech most likely. Your previous helmet was not snell 2000. I got nabbed in Tech because I did not have a snell 2000 approved helmet. That is why I termed my post as such was all.

edit: Dang you got a melon for a head size! ha ha Hope you like your new helmet.

i have an unfortunately large head...im a big guy, so it doesnt look funny...

they said that the padding in my helmet was too worn out...i used to always leave my helmet in the car, and i guess that the heat didnt treat the padding nicely...i was pretty pissed off about the guy giving me a hard time...this particular track is pretty easy going, so i couldnt believe it when the guy gave me the "you arent passing tech" look from the other side of the car...i sweet talked my way around it for those few days,...but i thought that id rather not press my luck.. my home track doesnt even check my helmet, as ive been racing there for 12 years now...i dont even have to open the hood in tech...

and no, this isnt a real mugshot...
