Keeping your face warm?

I was wondering what you guys do to keep your face warm while riding? Some type of ski mask? I believe Under Armour makes some type of ski mask type thing using fairly thin material. Something made to be worn under a football helmet or something.

I ride the bike nearly year round. I have been on the bike down into the low 20's. Wear a DOT approved FULL face helmet for one. Second, wear a thin face mask underneath that also covers your neck from the cold wind. Do those two things and you'll never feel the cold on your face.

BTW, buying a set of heated gloves or heated hand grips is also a MUST in my opinion.

A balaclava works great for me and then my little brother gave me an Afghani wrap. A balaclava is one of those masks you pull over your head with eye holes and an open spot for your mouth that lookslike what hi-jackers and bank-robbers wear but its thin and doesn't limityour mobility and goes down over your neck and keeps the cold out pretty well. You can get them at any army-navy/hunting/outdoors/camping store.

Out riding tonight in the mid-thirty degreesand I was fine, 'cept for the finger tips start to get a little cold. Seen these things called hippo hands that wrap around the handle bars to keep your hands warm and if you can go by feel on don't need to see the controls on the handle bars they should help. Might get me a pair as the weather gets colder here.

I use a wool scarf in my family tartan. wrap it around my neck then around my face. then sip up the coat over that, put the helmet on and tuck the scarf up into the cheek pads to keep it securely over my nose. works really well combined with facial hair.

thinking about a heated gloves, vest or jacket liner and overpants for when it gets colder. so far i've been good without it anything heated.
