Just placed my order for three pairs of icon jeans, the primer tank bag, and one pair of Joe rocket atomic jeans. Damn, that's a lot of money! (for me)

This will put me up to 7 pairs of motorcycle specific riding pants. I wish I could buy even more, but there's not enough $$$. Must pay the non-fun stuff too. Like bills.[:'(]

 

Whoa!, yeah for new stuff. Let us know about the pants. Thinking about getting a pair, getting too hot for leather ones.

 

Do those icon jeans actually protect?

Maybe so on being too hot, I would still wear a full suit.

 

I'm sure the icon pants won't protect you like track pants, or padded pants. But the other pairs of icon pants I have are pretty thick in the key areas, and have tear resistant armor too.

Around here, wearing full leathers would likely cause a heat stroke during the summer months. I'll take my chances with reinforced jeans. (Still better than shorts, flip-flops, and a wife beater right?

 

I have not seen them in person, was just asking mark. I am just a die hard leather wearer from the past and most likely in the future.

 

No doubt leather is the best protection, but for slower in-town riding, I think these jeans are a good trade off. I have a pair of Joe Rocket stage 1 mesh track pants, and even they are torture during the hot days.

 

I'm sure the icon pants will be ok for riding. I know how he feels about paying the bills LOL

 

ok ok, not to beat a dead horse here, but after approximately 90mph in a tumble I will show you my suit again. After patched that is.
