How is the Tourmaster Saber jacket?

I can get a good deal on a Tourmaster Saber jacket. I live on Long Island and will ride pretty much year round as long as the roads aren't icey or covered with snow, I will also need to ride in bad weather. Winter's coming up so I need my jacket to be warm and waterproof. Can the Saber handle this? The one I'm looking at is not a Series II.

RE: How is the Tourmaster Saber jacket?

I don't own that jacket, but even my icon merc leather jacketdoes fine when riding inbelow freezing temperatures. (I do have to wear a sweater underneath.) If you plan of doing a bunch of cold weather riding, invest in either a set of heated grips, or buy good heated gloves. I use both, although if I had to choose only one, I'd keep my Gerbing heated gloves since they keep the entire hand warm. Also, buy a good pair on insulated pants. Lastly, buy a neck insulator, or something that will cover your neck from cold wind. It's a lifesaver!
