I just use wax, like you would wax your car, but make sure to keep off the shield.

I spray the whole thing with a spray wax.."Ice' and wipe...done 5sec....

azdeuce, I think waxing is best for the finish on the helmet. Good job.

I roll mine around in the dirt whenever the bike decides to nap.
