HELP a noob* Green Gear to match Kawa Green
 

Hello there KF,

First post, just got my first bike ever. Its in a Kawasaki Green color, and I wanted to find a green jacket and gloves to match. Protection is my first priorty, airflow is second. I am thinking textile right now as it is summer. I am hoping some of you experience Kawasaki guys with green bikes can help throw out some suggestions. All the choices are so overwhelming for me. It took me two days to pick a helmet.

aw man i was being serious. its been taking a while to find one that matches and offers good protection... so matching color is not a big thing here , cuz it seemed like my post was a joke..

No I was just messing with ya man, but you did post not saying what you are riding, so you left yourself wide open. :D But seriously what are you riding? Where are you from, what do you do for work? You know the basics, so we can continue to razz you.;) Again just kidding, ............man I gotta stop.

my bad man. still pretty new--

2003 ninja 250r in kawasaki green

i have the helmet part figured out and i found a few jackets that are in green, but i'd rather some general consensus on the forum as which jacket is best protection and comfort wise. i dont have any good moto stores (B&M) near me so i'd have to buy online so i want to be sure.

im starting to drift away from trying to match-- is there some website that compares / crash tests / drags different brands of jackets?

I like zcustom leathers and bates brands. Alpinestars and the kangaroo leathers from motogp are supposed to be good as well. Not sure on the crash tests except for my personnal crash testing of the z leathers. lol

besides leather is there anything else thats pretty good? Leather seems hot for the summer. are the mesh jackets any good? what about the textile ones? Between mesh vs. textile what is more protective?
