Helmet flashlight??
I think it would be cool to have a LED flashlight mounted to my helmet. Anyone know of any you can buy that light the road ahead of you decently or has anyone made their own flashlight mount?

Like Brien said, a bicycle light is good. I use a Cygolite Expillion mounted on my helmet for extra light in the dark months of winter. It's LED and USB rechargeable and lasts for hours and hours on a charge.
Helps me see through the turns and off the side of the road, where a moose may be lurking. When I encounter oncoming traffic I look down and off to the right a little, so I don't blind oncoming trafffic(of which there is little, btw).
It really shines (pun intended) when you turn off the bike in complete darkness.

Holy crap! Spec-ops!! Might also be able to fab/mount a couple of the generic strap-on (get your mind outta the gutter) headlamps from local big box (Lowe's, Home Depot) stores?
Yeah; call me cheeeap.
