Yeah, there is a pocket in the back. Currently it has a very flismy foam pad, thinnest back bad i've seen yet. I imagine the JR spine protector would fit. Tested it out yesterday. North Cak weather is starting to cooperate again. It performed really well. It was about 60 degrees and the jacket vents really well. The arms are shaped for riding position so riding with straight arms is not really comfortable bc of the armor and stiffness of the jacket, but tucked up into riding position it's all good.
