If anyone is wondering, I'm picking my gear out one section at a time because I'm researching a lot. You know, first time and all.

 

Two thumbs up on the Scorpion helmet, especially with the photochromic antifog shield. I think there was a post about the Scorpion being a heavier helmet than a Shoei. Yeh; may be, but not by a terribly noticeable margin. Works just dandy for me.

Ended up going with the Scorpion. It just fit better, and I love the design. The picture I have posted just doesn't do it justice, because you can't see the back or the top. And ofc also went with the Alpinestars boots. My jacket will be an NJK textile. I've heard nothing but great things about them, and their jackets are VERY competetively priced.

 

The scorpion is a good fitting helmet for sure. Though, a little on the heavy side.

 

heh, I was looking up pictures of the new Helmet to post, and I came across Scorpion's "about us" page. I want to work there. The women are pretty damn good-looking, and they love to ride!
