New Elimanator 125 Owner
 

I bit the bullet (took a $500 loss on a 3 week old purchase) but traded in a Yamaha Zuma Scooter for Eliminator 125 on 8/8/2005. Purchased this to ride on the back of my Class C motorhome. Zuma top speed of 35-40 mph was too scary to ride on highway, and I didn't want anything bigger or heavier than the Eliminator to be mounted on my hitch. Hitch mount is JoeHauler.com model 05 HD cam. I love the 55-58 mph cruise speed of the Eliminator and had it up to 61.5 mph. I am not a skinny guy, weighing in at 200 pounds. Low seat height of 26.5 inches makes it nice for me as I am only 5'8" tall. I am a veteran rider, age 53 , been riding since I was 13. Had Kaws, Honda's and Harley's. But this sure beats hauling a car or a cycle trailer. So far I love the looks too! I would love to hear from any other Elimanator owners!

Welcome aboard Cary! Congratulations on the purchase of the Eliminator! If you get a chance, you should post up some pics - we love seeing everyone's bikes! If my memory serves me right - I rode one of those when I took my motorcycle safety course - sweet bikes!

Welcome! Yes those were the MSF class bikes I remember as well. fun little things. comfy beyond all belief, just a wee bit underpowered for my need in a vehicle, but very fun. A question for you though...can they do highway speed (65-70) with reasonable gas mileage, and at what RPM?

I'm not too sure. I have heard that they aren't real good for highway speeds, just kind of crusin the back roads and stuff. As for RPM's I have no idea - they had all of the guages taped at the msf course, so you truly had no idea how fast you were going!

Greetings from Parrish Florida. I bought my wife a new Eliminator 125. She has never had a bike before. I love it. A blast to putt around on. I bought a new Vulcan 500 LTD that I hope to pick up tomorrow (11-30-05.) It is my 1st bike also. LQQking forward to the enjoyment of riding.

Parrish, Florida. I know where that is. Just saw the sign for your town a couple of weeks ago.

Was headed down to visit with family for Thanksgiving and was on on highway 37. There's a sign for Parrish at the intersection of 37 and 62.

Nice part of the state - the rural part!

Congrats on the purchase of a neat bike. I work as a RiderCoach at an MSF school. We use the BN125 Eliminator as our training bikes. They are quite rugged and take a pounding. They're about 3 years old now and still hanging in there. Most of their running is spent idling or riding in 1st or 2nd gear. I don't think most of them have ever been in 5th gear.

I bravely rode from Ft. Gordon, GA to AL on my Eliminator 125. It was a seven hour ride (I'm about 6' tall, so it was very cramped) on the interstate. I've never been more sore in my life! I had to have my wife following behind me in the Jeep to keep people from running me over in their mad rush, as I averaged between 55 and 60 mph. On the highway, I got about 65 miles per gallon. Upon my return, I promptly made my way to the Kawasaki dealership to "buy my wife" an '07 Vulcan 500. I made up my mind that day that I would never subject my back to the torment of riding a bike with a frame that is too small for me again. However, I can not say enough good things about the Eliminator. It's been great transportation for the past 2 months. Great bike. Congratulations on your purchase, and welcome to the forum!
