Hi there split the case for my 2009 klx 250 to get out the piece of a broken piston so I took out the shift fork and gears to clean behind it and the shift drum and when I read installed I notice the shift forks can be installed in the drum at different spots I don’t know where to start it at, is there a mark to place it at or even the shift star. I tried a few different variations and sometime get 3 gears other times I get 2 never 1 down 4 up though.

 

Took me a while but I got it not really a wrong way to put these on just put in the groves that’s on the drum and turn
