Default Kawaski vn800b 2002

Hey friends. New here and new to this bike. I ride,, I have a VTX1800 custom Retro and A Ultimate classic Harley A few hours ago I was gifted a Kawasaki VN 800 Classic 2002 with No tank but the rest seems to be here. Last year I rebuilt a CLUB CAR with the FE350 ( Lawnmower engine) so I want to add a v twin water-cooled rumbling power plant that is reliable. I have a few problems from the jump..
Problem UNO $
The cart's tranny/ rear end work clockwise.. and as we all know all the rest of the engines in the world are counter-clockwise, ( JACK SHAFT HEAR WE COME.) $$$
Problem duo could be $$
Both my bikes are fuel injected both have FUEL PUMPS in tank... This bike is carburated and with no tank, I have no idea if it has a fuel pump. or if it's in the tank or out of the tank...
Problem THRE $$$

What will I need to make this engine run off the bike, Electronics, computer, etc? I want to simplify this install as few wires and hoses as possible.
As I mentioned I'm hours into this build as far as the engine is concerned the cart is ready and running now. But it sounds like a lawnmower., I am not after BIG HP just a cool-sounding rumble in the exhaust and reliability when the key is turned, Also, I saw a video saying this engine needs valve adjustment every 6000 miles? Seems to be too frequent but the guy claims the heads could or will fry,, Any info on a project like this will be a blessing.,,, Cheers Joe,
Gotta Know Joe Hobbies

Default Vulcan 800 2002

I have a Kawa Vulcan B7, 2002. I ride it. It has 35, 000 miles on it and it runs great but yes, you need to go over the valves at least every 6, 000 miles. This bike has solid lifters, not hydraulic like newer bikes, that adjust themselves. Its a process, kinda time consuming but yeah, you will cook the heads and whats worse, it the valve stays out of adjustment either too loose or too tight, it will swallow into the cylinder and destroy the piston and head. The 6,000 mile intervile depends on how you ride. Im not hard on the bike, I just cruise and I change the oil a lot. I did them at 6,000 and found 1 exhauste valve tight from the factory so fixed that. At 12,000 The settings remained the same so I went to 18,000, Still the same so I did them at 28, 000 still the same, now I'll do them at 38, 000 and every 12, 000 after that. If you ride hard, do them every 6,000. Again, they are solid lifters and are susceptible to wear. Frequent oil changes cuts down wear. So, easy riding and frequent oil changes, your ok at 12, 000. A great motor, you just gotta maintain it. its a machine. Oh and no pump. Just gravity feed and and a vacuum operated petcock for fuel delivery. By the way, if in the event the carb is N.G., they want $800 from Kawasaki. I found the carb on ebay and amazon, NEW for as little as $79, the same carb and probably made by the same Kehin company in China. Wuick story, I needed the return spring on the carb, not available, cant be bought so I bought the carb for $79 and changed out the spring. Theyre out there and lots of them, just google. Good Luck
