FYI...Super Sherpa petcock

I understand that Yamaha PN 23F-24500-11 replaces the SS's stock vacuum-operated fuel valve.
Tonight, I replaced the stock petcock on mine with the Yamaha Raptor petcock, sold by ProCycle as a replacement for the DR650's vac-operated fuel cock.
Since upgrading the an IMS tank, the Raptor petcock was just collecting dust on the DR's stock tan. I swapped the pickup tube (even though the Raptor tube fit into the SS tank without binding or interference) and she slide right in.

Fits perfectly and works like a charm....

I would like to change my petcock too. My SS's must have just failed because gas is in my engine oil, leaking. Hubby may have bumped it and moved it to Prime or some failure in the carb. Oy!
