Default fork oil

hello. i have a trike that i made using a 1965 corvair, (yup, the car), rear section and a 1973 kawasaki bike front. (i think it was a big road bike. been 11 years.) i drained the old fork oil and one of my friends said it only requires 20 cc oil per side. today, a guy in chico ca. said it takes, like 250 cc per side. holy moly!!!! thats quite a difference. soooooooo, i thought i would go to the pro's. what do ya say, rocketiers. thanks

Not knowing what front end you have, but even my kz1000 takes 327cc on a complete dis-assembly and cleaning.
