Hi,
putting a 1981 kz440 back together and am stymied trying to locate where a couple of ground wires go. They are up in the headlight area connected to the parking light bulb and the only place I can think of putting it is behind the nuts of the headlight brackets inside the headlight cover. Is this the right location?

I only ask because they have a lot of rubber around the bolts so not getting a sense of any real earthing going on here.

Pretty much anywhere they can be under a bolt head that touches metal

 

Thanks MaverickAus. My aim is to get the bike back to original and was just wanting to know the actual factory location of the ground connections.

I did a crazy thing and looked it up in a service manual. The ground is located between washers on the indicator stems.
