Default polishing

i have a question...i asked some people that question and everyone gave me different answer. is it good to wax and polish new bike or not? some say it's good for paint and even in suzuki instrouctions is written it is recomended. but some people say it's not good because it destroys protective layer of paint. so, what do you think? and if it's good and recomended what type of wax and polish is recomended for paint with pearl effect?

ive always heard to keep a good layer of wax on, but only on glossy finishes. flat finishes your not supposed to wax

wassup barbar??

Yes, it is good to wax new bike. Just use a clear coat safe wax. Like Honda polish, Meguirs, etc. Do not use a cleaner wax, or any type of rubbing compound.

hit it up withsome furniture polish, i did my 7 and that thing was shining for years. even after it was wrecked it was still shiny. it attracted bees though when it was parked because of the lemon sent.

so do we not put any protection on the flat blue? i thought they just kit it up with a flat clear coat versus a shiney one. i dont think the flat is bare paint.
