I haven't been here for a very long time...I thought some of you might be interested in a bit of Kawasaki exotica..I'm building a 1991 KR1S race bike. Bought it in the States last year as a project..

Very cool! What got you started on it? Have you built any other bikes? I like that body style. I remember going to the local motorcycle shop, and staring at the ZX7RR bike. I wanted one then, and still want one now! I have an '05 ZX636 for the streets that I am very happy with. Keep the pics coming, and good luck with it. Jim.

Thanks Jim, I've built lots of bikes, and saw this one on eBay last year...thought it would be a fun roadrace bike...I stopped racing 2 strokes a few years back, but these more modern ones should be more reliable....we'll see...

I'm betting that the bigger and newer bike will be more reliable, (if put together right), and should be a lot easier to set up the suspension for roadracing. I am working on getting my race license here in Canada, and I am hoping to have it by the end of this season, or for sure by next season. The best part is that one of the race schools has just been sponsored by Kawasaki! Does life get any better than this! Thanks for the reply, and best of luck with your project.
