Default 84 Gpz750 fuel problem

I have a 84 Gpz 750 and I can't get this thing to run off the gas in the carburetor. It will start off of starting fluid and stay running off of it, obviously if you keep spraying it in the carbs. Here's some background info. The bike ran before i took it apart. I took it apart to change the starter clutch, and also bought rebuild kits for the carbs. The bowls are filling up with gas on all 4 carbs. I can't figure out why it isn't getting to the engine. I cleaned these things to no end. I race moto-x and if the bike starts and runs only on starting fluid it is because the pilot jet is clogged. I'm coming to the conclusion that it isn't the case on this bike. Does anyone have a clue what the problem is?

True enough, but what else is also involved in the starting circuit for this ride??? pilot, emulsion, floats, possible air leaks.... Good luck on the find and welcome to KF
