Hello guys,

First time post here, so hopefully I'm in the right section here. I have a 85 KZ1000 that I'm looking to do some work on. The bike has been started twice(counting last week) since 2005. As you could imagine the bike is desperate for a tune up. I really have no idea where to begin or what to do. Im reaching out to see if there is any help available to help do myself, if not there may be a dealer i could call to help in the pacific north west. Most the dealers I've called so far have been to afraid to touch the bike because of how old it is. If you have any ideas that may help that would be awesome.

Sounds like you have an interesting project there.
We have a few members that pop in from time to time that may have some good advice for you. Where are you located?
