Need help installing the center stand spring on a 1984 GPZ1100. The right outside tab that the center stand bolt goes through was missing on this bike. I welded a new tab on, installed the bolt and hairpin. The stand works fine but I'm not sure where to attach the spring. There's an obvious place on the stand itself but I don't see any provision for the other end of the spring. Any help will be appreciated.
