I have a 1981 kawasaki kz750 LTD, the carbs were kicking out on the old setup , so my dad bought a set of 82 spectre ones, and the bike wont start sometimes and when it does it idles funny and tries to die when we give it gas, we did a THURROUGH cleaning on these inside the bowls and needles and such but cant seem to get it to work, vaccume? fuel? fire? what is it?? we are at witts end and i am out of a daily , HELP ME!!!!!!! Did you replace the whole carb set? Did you calibrate the jets? I have a service manual for 81 to 84 KZ/ZX750 bikes. I'll get back to you.
