I don't know about any of that stuff but I do think your bike rocks. I only bought my ZRX because I really love the old school bikes and couldn't find a clean KZ or GPZ around here and loved the eddie lawson replica's since they came out

Here is my 2002 REX. It had a wholeshot pipe and ignition advancer. I went down on the front sprocket as well. It was a wheelie monster.

With these older bikes its a love/hate thing. I love the way they look and sound. It brings back memories from when I was in high school, BUT (thats a BIG BUT) I have seen them like this selling for 14K on ebay and I certainly would never pay that much for this bike. I picked it up for 1500 and put about 1500 into it, and every square inch of it is restored but I think if I was going to shell out 14k for a bike I would get something with better brakes and geometry.

However, I must say that no amount of money can buy the grin on your face and the utter befuddlement of other people as they wonder "WTF is that?"

On Wednedsay evening I had a cop and his partner pull up next to me at a stoplight and ask that very question. His grin was bigger than mine. I was just glad that my clutch slips right now and I hadnt stood the thing up - I dont have my mirrors on yet and wasnt able to do a quick "check six" for any bogies.
