Default Exhaust

I have a 96 Vulcan 750, love the bike. I would like to increase the sound from the exhaust. I don't want to have to purchase expensive new pipes (Vance & Hines, Cobra. etc). Soes anyone know of a easy less expensive way of accomplishing my goal?

30"x1/2" drill bit.

Slip on is probably the least expensive, should be about 425.00. Shop and try ebay.

Have you tried to take off your pipes and see whats in side? If you dig that stuff out from in side you'd get more sound. Make sure you don't destroy it taking it out. And you should put new seals when putting your pipes back on.

I bought the exhaust bypass kit from scootworks and put it on last year. What it does is it takes out the "pre-muffler" thats on our bikes underneath those fancy heat shields. They give you a couple pieces of pipe one with the proper bend on it and 4 clamps one of which it ground down to clear the frame....too bad it doesn't.Pretty easy overall installation, and stock look (cops can't tell, even keeps the stock rear end of the muffler so the kawasaki exhaust compliance stuff is all there.)Sounds pretty damn good if you ask me, plus I didn't have to rejet the carbs (yet).

For $70 after shipping to Vermont and about 2 days of work it was on. Would've only been an hour but the clamp they send you to doesn't clear the frame so I didn't even put the clamp on, just the heat tape they give you. Also the bumper they give for the center stand doesn't fit....at all. Rubber ring is too small and the zip tie is too short.

So this got incredibly longer than I thought, but hopefully it's helpful.
