whistle noise on my 2006 nomad 1600

Default whistle noise on my 2006 nomad 1600
After I ride and shut my bike down there is a whistle. Further checking it is coming from the gas cap area. If I open my gas cap and let the pressure out the whistle stops. Is this normal or do I have a vent problem with my gas cap? Thanks in advance for any help.

My 03 Classic does the same.Just heat build-up in the gas tank,I have cars and trucks that do the same.

Get rid of some of your smog crap and it will stop.
