Passenger Floorboards Nomad 1600

Passenger Floorboards Nomad 1600
I have a new 2006Nomad 1600. My wifes legs are too short to reach the passengers floorboards. Any ideas on replacement boards that are shorter and at least a kit to raise the OEM boards? I have more invested in my wife than the bike so alterations must be to the bike? LOL... Is there any one that has faced this before?[8D]
