Default Floor board vibration

I have a 2005 Vulcan 1600...My floor boards vibrate escpecially when it is windy. I have taken the spring off, and added rubber between the pad and floor frame, but it still vibrates...

Are you talking about rider or passenger boards. We have an 06 Nomad and have not experienced that malady yet.

Dutch

I also have an '05 1600 Vulcan Classic with floor boards on the front and rear (Cobra for pax). I haven't have any vibration problem with either. I wonder if maybe you have a balance problem with a wheel, possibly with a weight that's missing or not properly installed. I really enjoy the bike since I added Vance Hines "Big Shots" and Cobra FI processor. I'm now waiting to install a Kuryakn Pro Hypercharger so I can help the engine "breathe". Just waiting for a few "warm" days
