Drifter front fender on a Nomad???

Does anyone know or has anyone tried puting the scalloped front fender off of a 1500 Drifter onto a Nomad? Had a thought that might look pretty darn good.

Oops, nevermind!!! Now that I have the bike home, I can see "it ain't gonna work" due to the discs up front.:eek:
