after filling up tank, bike dies while riding

after filling up tank, bike dies while riding.. I can start it right back up, even while riding, but I hear it studder now and then as well... obviously dangerous. All the lights come on.

Is there any correlation here? What would a clogged fuel filter feel like?

Thanks for information on this.

I would check into your Evaporative Emission Control System in your manual. I am not sure if that answers your question but it would be something to mark off your list of possibilities.

Just wondering....is there some kind of fuel tank venting tube or something? Sounds like a venting issue to me. Try opening your fuel tank cap after your bike stalls, to see if you hear a "vacuum" type sound. Or, Like Drag said^, the Evap system.
(Stock fuel cap, or aftermarket? Sometimes the aftermarket jobbies have a wonky O-ring that will actually air-lock the fuel tank.) ??

Some fuel systems have a charcoal canister that can foul up if the tank is overfilled and the gasoline gets into the canister. Not sure if this is a possible problem here, but I know there were some cases where overfilling (squeezing in that last bit of gas) caused running issues.
