Adding Pro series hypercharger
I'll be adding the hypercharger soon and have read on several sites that the location of the charger does cause some problem reaching the brake pedal. Anyone have this problem? I'm only 5'9" tall and fairly thin(well, I think so, even if the wife doesn't ) and ride with boots. Do I need to modify the set-up for the brake, or is it something that I just have to adjust to. Thanks for any info.

Greetings Brother!
I've installed the pro hypercharger on my 05 Nomad. I'm 5-11, 270lbs. The hyper charger does stick out more than the stock air system, but as for me, it doesn't get in the way of getting to the brake pedal. I'm happy with the unit and it does make a noticable difference in the performance of my bike. I am also using the Cobra fi2000, that makes a bid difference too.

I finally added the Hypercharger to my scoot. I really like the VH BigShots, Classic FI 2000 and Pro Series Hypercharger combination. I had a problem removing a button-head bolt from the cover during the intial install, but after using an extracter to remove it, the rest of the process went well [&:]. After riding for less than 100 miles (weather lousy here in NJ), I decided to add a brake pedal extension from Kuryakyn. It should arrive within a few days. I read several reviews on www.cruisercustomizing (great site for product reviews) and several riders complained about not feeling "comfortable" with the Hypercharger and brake pedal. The brake pedal extender solved the problem, plus it looks much better than the black pad.

I just added the pro sereis hypercharger to my 04, 1600 classic this weekend. I am 6'2, and it is definately in t he way. I am very uncomfortable with the small amount of rear pedal that I can now reach. I immediately call the dealer and they said an alternative is to bring the bike to them. They will pull my pedal, put it on a press, and bend its natural curves more to give me a few more inches extended out. However, I just read Kuryakyn also has a brake pedal extender. I will go and price this item tomorrow. Also. My bike seems to run fine without a Power Commander. Can anyone give me there take on running without a power commander, or is it something I should definately added. I'm already running with Vance and Hines Big Shot mufflers.

Personally I have no experience. A fella I work with has a Harley with a hyper charger and said that it's shape creates a dead air space at the back and restricts the airflow to half the filter area.?
