I have a 1999 1500 Nomad, what would cause the engine not to Idle without the choke being out about 3/8"? I bought the bike which is beautiful and all the nice extras true duals and all, It had been setting a while so I drained the gas, put in hi-test, new plugs breather. and after warm-up I can get it to idle with the choke spaced out 3/8". I'm thinking maybe the fuel filter, which I will replace anyway. Thanks ahead of time.
