Too much vibration.

Too much vibration comes up thru the seat on my 1999 1500 Drifter i purchased used last year. The shop says these older Vulcans do that.If i back off on the two motormount bolts it vibrates thru the bars instead.Either way it takes a toll on the body after awhile.Has anyone had this same problem and found a way to tame it down?
Thanks for any usefull information or tips.

I have a 95 Vulcan... Not too much vibration but the engine sure does make some noise.... Lots of ticking and stuff of which ive heard these engines are renowned or nonrenowned for. It is though a powerful engine IMHO..
