Slipping clutch
 

Well as said, my clutch is slipping, a friend said maybe change oil, put in some Kaw oil, before redoing clutch, scooter has only 20,000 miles of easy ridding, should it be worn out already.

At 20k miles? Yeah, I bet it is.

The good news is, it's an easy job to replace the clutch discs. ;)

It likely isn't your clutch, just the clutch spring. My first one went at 30,000 miles, the next ones about 25,000 miles each. Check out Gadget's nomad site to find out how to change the spring. www.gadgetsfixitpage.com. The spring costs about $20.00 or so and takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to change. Some bikes have to have the spring changed every 8,000 miles and I've talked to riders that have 75,000 miles on their bikes with the original spring. This is a part that should never wear out.
I also had trouble with Castrol GTX 10-40 oil that made the clutch slip. The other oils I tried always worked fine.
Check this out before you let anyone replace your clutch needlessly!!!

Thats the oil thats in it, I use it in everything, I'll change to something else, and see what happens, thanks.

My Clutch was worn and only operated on the very end of the lever. I thought it would be and easy job. I watched a clutch video on u tube and it looked easy. My 98 Vulcan Classic isn't. I had to take off the running board and the Exhaust and the frame tube, from just under the tank down to the rear tire. Then the cover would come off. Took about eight hours. It however was well worth it now I have want seems like a full engaged clutch and shifts like new.
