Can brake rotors be turned like a car or do they need to be replaced.


I just bought a used bike and after really checking it out, I found many problems,one problem is the rear brake rotor is gouged not smooth and I want to know if they can be turned or do you have to buy new ones .
I have a 03 vulcan classic 1500e

They can be turned if they are within tolerances I believe, if you can find someone to do it. Call around to the local shops and see if they know anything.
