Cool overheating problems

hay im a new guy on this site, bought a 1991 zzr600d a fortnight ago from a fella in northampton,it got me back to bournemouth for me to find water spray from the reserve and over heating,i checked radiator there was rad weld gunk in it so emptied the rad off all its swomp water, refilled it with just water and ticked her over(to check for leeks),found one off the hoses had been to loose above the exhaust manafold, also found the battery had to much water in it so it was arcing, and the throttle is sticking causing her to rev to high,so got a new radiator coming which will hopefully solve this problem with new thourmostat and fan, because my fan packed in aswell, might need to adjust the throttle cable from the carb, its a double cable joby on these babys, also will put the right anti freeze coolent and the right oil in her,i bought her for £400 on e-bay off a novice mechanic with tax and mot,now shes my baby project also i checked for water in the oil which there is none otherwise it would have been a head gasket job, bargain until im zx9r ing again this will do for a winter project, anyone want advice or vice verser lets av a chat!
