Default Newbie Q on oil pressure light

Folks, I need your help in iding a part. Where is the oil presure sensor located? My bike seems to run just fine, but the check engine light is on and doesn't go off. I've checked the oil level which is good, also dumped the oil and changed filter, but the light is still lit. Aside from pulling the tank and the valve cover to see if the valves are getting oiled, I thought I might just shotgun the sensor. If that doesn't do the trick I'll need to start the tear down. Anyone know of a bike suffering an oil pump failure. Mine is a 2006 with just over 5k on it.

Never heard of that problem, maybe unhook the battery and see if it resets

Got it! It was the sender unit. Seems for some reason it had come loose. I simple tightened the connector and presto!

You fixed it and you didn't even hit it with a hammer! What's the world coming to?
