Default Kawasaki 1986 600A2

Hey I found a 1986 Kawasaki 600 in a friends back yard n he said i could have it so i took it home n i striped the bike i am down to the motor n i was wondering wat other motors can i put in that bike that would fit?

A large question to start with. Prolly the 86-88 ninja 600 or 750 engines. What is wrong with the engine that you have right now? Welcome to KF.

The guy i found it from left it sitting outside i guess since 86 idk where he got it from but there is a bunch of crap in the crank case n like half of the stuff is rusted i just think it might b cheaper to put a diff engine in... wat do u think should i try to rebuild the engine?
