Default 07 ZZR Sprocket Change

Well i hate being that guy who ask the dumb question but, i cant seem to find info on changing out my sprockets for a little more top end. I have owned my bike not for nearly 6 months now(WOW)... Bought straight from the factory and now over 3500 miles on it. I am in the military and going back to Germany. I want to safely utilize the german autobahns and get a little more top end out of my little 600... I dont stunt(never will) just enjoy the cruise and of course a little adrenaline push now and again. All help is appreciated and again, my apologies for askin that dumb question!!

I know for faster off the line gearing you would go 1-up and 2-down (one more tooth on the motor sprocket and 2 less on the rear), so I'm guessing for top end you might want to go 2 up in the rear and leave the front alone.....unless you want to rev to 8000 just to leave a stop sign.

EDIT: now that I think about it the 2 up in the rear doesn't seem right, so scratch that. 2 down on the back and leave the front stock...that sounds a little better.

WOW, Confusing stuff but i think i generally understadn what they are saying. Well considering im not racing the bike, just looking for a little more top end when i add the extra horse, ill most likely leave my front alone and go with +1/+2 rear sprocket. But ill be waiting till i can fine a tuning shop who can help me the tune!!!

Just a note....going over my original post and I found another f(&k up, for better street range it's -1 in front and +2 in back, I was bass ackwards.

I went up three in the back and got some grunt without sacrificing too much top-end. I would try to go 2 down in the rear and see how that works out.
