Default 05 ZZR Questions

I just got a 05 ZZR with 8500 miles on it the other day..

Just earlier when I was driving it I noticed while starting off in 1st gear, the tranny makes 2 clicking noises.

When I put it in 1st, it clanks real hard, and if I rev it first and put it in first, it grinds in.

Then when I start to ease off the clutch, there is 2 or 3 clicking noises that are pretty noticible if your riding it.

Anyone ever heard of this or know anything about it?

All help is appreciated.

Thanks

My 05 will grind if you rev it too much in nuetral then try to slam it in...not recommended btw. It will clank into first, most bikes do, if you hold in the clutch more it will eliminate a lot of that. The clicking noises...not normal as far as I know. Is this your first bike? If not...go with your gut, if its not normal get it checked out.

Almost forgot...do you know what kind of oil is in it? That can make a big difference too.

CONGRATES ON THE BIKE. THE "CLANK" INTO FIRST IS NORMAL I'VE NOTICED THAT IT'S CUT DOWN IF I DOULBE CLUTCH, MEANING WHILE STILL IN NEUTRAL ENGAGE THE CLUTCH TWICE CONSECUTIVELY AND PUT IT IN GEAR ON THE SECOND TIME. MAYBE IT'S ALL IN MY HEAD BUT THAT SEEMS TO HELP WHEN SHIFTING INTO FIRST. AND IT WILL ALWAYS GRIND IF YOU REV IT UP AND TRY PUTTING IT IN GEAR A CAR WILL DO THE SAME THING TOTALLY NORMAL. AND IF YOU JUST BOUGHT THE BIKE IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO GET AN OIL CHANGE JUST TO KNOW YOU HAVE FRESH OIL IN THE BIKE AND IT CAN ALSO LET YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING LOSE IN THE ENGINE AND IF THAT'S FINE THEN DRAGONE#19 IS RIGHT CHECK YOUR CHAIN FOR THE CLICKING MINE IS CLICK EVERY ONCE AND WHILE B/C I NEED TO OIL IT. GOOD LUCK AND LET US KNOW HOW IT TURS OUT.
