So I was heading into Port Angeles to pick up the new furnace, and half way around Lake Crescent I got a call from the furnace dealer telling me that the LP conversion kit was not shipped with the furnace, so I turned around and headed back to work. But I just had to take a few pics, you know for posterity..(that means for succeeding generations) Anyway I met a new friend and we talked for a while and then it was back in the van. So it looks like I'll be heading back in on Monday, so you guys don't get a break from me today after all.

Picture at the beginning of the lake before the phone call. Not bad I guess considering I'm driving 45 and it was taken with the Blackberry through a dirty window.



This was on the way back, I figured I might as well stop and enjoy the view for a minute. We go around this lake a couple of times a month but it seems that we always blow by and don't really enjoy the scenery.


Here is my new friend, I wish I had some bread for you little fellow, sorry. He came right up to me as if he knew that I had some food for him. Wasn't scared at all.


I could almost reach out and pet him. These guys are really cool, and I felt bad that he was all by himself.


Well that was it, time to get back into the 93 Ford van, wow that paint is really faded. Its only got 53,000 miles on it. I'm gonna beat it to 100,000 on the KLX
