k, i wanted to do that anyway (way less wiring my my part) and seeing as though youre certified, i have a question for ya. will i get louder/better sound out of a 4way 400w speaker as opposed to a 3 way 280w? the price difference is pretty big, but im not sure if its worth it.

and if both my subs, being two 12in 1200w's are hooked up to a 2000w amp am i going to get good sound, to much power, or to little and have it sound like ****?

specs for the head im prob gonna buy:
speaker output 50W x 4.
sub out put 500w x 2.

amp: 2000w, bridgeable 2 channel.
No, you will not need an amp for your door speakers. You will get a great sound just by tuning what you have a putting an amp on your subs.

Do not waste your money on the 4ways...

Whats your budget and what kind of speakers are you looking at buying.

Also what year make and model is your car.

I can piece together a very nice system for not a lot of money.

Also what brand are the subs and amp?

Are the subs dual or single voice coil...and how many ohms are they?

And one last question what size are the fuse(s) on the side of the amp?

not positive on the fuse or voice coil. 4 ohm pyramid 1200w subs, nitro 2000w amp. im putting all this in my 97 firebird formula. my budget is "is it worth it"... yeah, im one of those people that winds up with a **** ton of debt, but a ton of awesome random **** to show for it
