Default Where I live

As some of you know I live in Forks Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. I would not trade this place to live anywhere else in the world. Yes its a small town, but that in my book is one of the best things about living here. Anyhoo I was on You Tube and typed in Forks Washington, and found a couple of cool links and I thought I would share.

Some good pictures of the area done in a slide show by someone. Nice work.

Drag races, new to the area since last year, lots of fun and for $5.00 for all day you can't beat that. This is located about 1/4 of a mile from my house. People are coming from all over the state and beyond. Watch the guy in the *****'s car, he is a friend of mine. 900 Hp but can be bumped up to 2500, its crazy.

Sweet I found a video of some guy that rode a motorcycle through Forks, check it out. Sorry if this is boring to any folks out there, its just exciting to see other people enjoying the area that I take for granted sometimes. Good music too for that video. Oh by the way that building is an old cedar shake mill that was abandoned at least 20 years ago, I know exactly where that is 60 miles south of Forks.

Steelhead fishing on one of the local rivers, and another good choice in music. That's the fishing I do with my boat.

Watch this one, very nice.....why can't I catch fish like that? I must be spending too much time eating sandwiches and drinking coffee.

Oh there's plenty of tourists to go around, but when the rain starts they all scatter back to wherever, besides it good for the economy since logging has declined a lot in the last 15 years.

Right on deej, and so true about the rain, tourists and the logging industry! I left my small locale due to the industry. Miss the Steelhead fishing and the elk hunting too!

I am thinking about doing another road trip to anecortes again this year in Sept.
