yeah, that thing is wayyy old school, I had a 92. those tubes are turbulance decompression regulators to aid in helping the bike turn at speed.

Huh? Now that's the first time I have heard them referred to as that... and I worked for Kawi in that era...

It's carbed, non ram-air, heavier than hell, wide, and with a very low-slung front end... it's old school

sro- I still like my "old school" ride! Been down on the track about 10 times now and besides the obvious replacement parts, it is a die hard of a ride. But like you mentioned, it comes in at 505lbs loaded with the stock exhaust system and lights. Still a fun ride though.

No, I dont mean its the first time I heard them called old school... hell - even my 93 was old school. I mean the "tubes are turbulance decompression regulators to aid in helping the bike turn at speed"... The only thing that made that machine turn was muscle...

hahaha, I know better from you to even think that.

The only thing that made that machine turn was muscle..
I will definitely agree to that statement. along with some good setup. About fell on my head in the first few corners on the '06 after riding the 7 because I was using too much body language with the new ride. Whats up with the decompression regulator statements though? lol
