I would have spotted him the last $5.00 of the sprocket, I also wonder, if his chain would do well to be swapped out with the sprocket that ground down wouldn't the chain also have similar wear?

my school was lame too mang. here in the midwest w all the 'traditional' old fvcks and whatnot we couldn't do ANYTHING! couldn't wear those saying shirts if they were unappropriate, anything with a beer logo or whatnot on it, frowned on long hair, if your jeans were too baggy they'd send u home (not exclusively hanging off your bum but baggy), and you couldn't even dye your hair! unless it was natural blonde or brown it was deemed unacceptable. bs i tell ya. oh and guys were not allowed to have earrings. uber lame.

I spent 10 years in Nebraska, and I can attest to the fact that the schools are very old school, my knuckles got wrapped with a ruler every time I used my left hand. No this wasn't in the 60's this was in the late 80's!

When I was a jr in high school in 1981 I got sent home for wearing this on a t-shirt. Not lying. I'm surprised we could even listen to music or dance. Dude my town is Footloose.

I didn't even know what it meant.[8D]

Oh wait now I remember, it wasn't Don Ho, it was a beer mug, that's why I got sent home.....and the ironic part..I hated beer and still do.
